Real, public-facing events — in-person or clearly described online — with accurate dates, times, location, cost and organizer information, relevant to readers in Boston, Syracuse and New England.

• Fraudulent or fake events, and scams (including fake ticket sales).
• Intentionally misleading or materially false information.
• Impersonating another person, venue, brand or organization.
• Events promoting or involving illegal activity.
• Spam, bulk or repeated duplicate submissions of the same event.
• Malicious, deceptive or unsafe links.
• Hateful, harassing, sexually explicit or otherwise unsafe content.

We may edit submitted copy for clarity, formatting, accuracy and house style. We may decline or remove any listing that doesn't meet these standards.

Submitting or paying doesn't obligate About Us Media to endorse an event. A listing is not an About Us recommendation, About Us Approved status, featured placement, a story, social or newsletter coverage.
