Our story
About Us Media began as a personal blog in Syracuse, New York. Founder Amaris Collazo started writing about the events, small businesses, and community moments she cared about — and Syracuse showed up in a way she never expected.
What started as a blog turned into a movement. Run clubs filled up. Small businesses thrived. Wellness events sold out. Community, in every sense of the word.
In 2026, About Us Media moved its editorial home to Boston. Syracuse remains the archive — an important part of our story — while we build the same community here and across New England.
